DELL LATITUDE E6430 LAPTOP AVAILABLE ON RENTAL & SALE

Dell’s Latitude range of business-grade notebooks recently got their Ivy Bridge (third-generation Intel Core) refresh, and a new model that caught our eye was the E6430, which the company describes as “a 14in. The screen in a 13in. Chassis”. It’s no featherweight, but the Dell latitude e6430 laptop sale does offer a decent specification and strikes a pretty good balance between portability and productivity.

Rental India offers a comprehensive and affordable rental solution for businesses. We offer a full line of technology rental equipment, latest Graphics Workstations from top brands like HP, Dell and IBM.
Dell latitude e6430 premier laptop
First impressions of this Dell latitude e6430 laptop rental are of solid build quality and smart but understated design — businesslike, in a note. The E6430s Tri-Metal chassis is a military-grade (MIL-STD 810G) affair that incorporates a challenging anodised aluminium screen back, magnesium alloy edging to the display and system sections, and durable steel display hinges. The Dell Deployment Services, led-backlit screen has a resolution of 1,366 by 768 pixels and a matte anti-glare end, so you should not be troubled by reflections in brightly coloured offices. Viewing angles are greater in the horizontal plane compared to the vertical, however the solidly-hinged display hints back to 180 degrees and stays where it’s placed, so you need to be able to arrange it to best advantage no matter what position you adopt.

Another model that exemplifies the add-on effect of poor business/marketing decisions on design choices and ultimately the usability of the product. Like the 6420 these are solid performing laptops marred by a poor design. This series marked a detour in Dell’s Latitude line, where the attempt at adding curves to Dell’s notoriously ugly yet high-performing boxes was ill-considered: squeezing the form factor reduces the options for what parts can fit in the design, leaving Dell vulnerable to suppliers’ quality control, or lack thereof. In spite of these design choices, these machines held up the reputation of the Latitude line, performing as well as any, and have been in heavy use where I work for several years now.

The Dell Latitude E6430 is yet another great laptop in a line of Latitudes. It is great with Windows 7. We were very happy with our purchase of this model. They are also much better looking than the previous models.

This is my current laptop and I have to say it’s another decent laptop by Dell. I’ve had no issues with it so far. Mine has an SSD and a 4G mobile data card for Verizon. It has been extremely reliable and handles whatever I throw at it!

A good laptop save for one serious design flaw (admitted by Dell Support)- the RAM interface. I leave my laptop seated in the docking station, afraid to take it out, because even a little bump/jostle would unseat the RAM. If my computer is in use when this happens, the screen becomes screwy, and whatever I was working on at the time is lost.
After talking with Dell tech support about this, the only solution was to unseat/re-seat the RAM module, and the problem would go away. But the problem will always come back whenever I carried the laptop anywhere. So unfortunately it remains stationary.

Except for that one major flaw, the laptop works fine overall.

Excellent performance running x64 operating systems with 8GB of RAM. Back-lit keyboard and screen upgrade to the 1600×900 one make this one of the most usable notebooks I’ve had.

Looking forward to the next iteration – the E-Series just gets better and better.

Excellent piece of hardware. I have been using the E6430 for about 6 months now and it is with out a doubt the best Laptop/workstation I have worked with. It has all the processing power for my work and personal needs. It is lightweight for when I need to take it off site. I went inside and took it completely apart (couldn’t help it). It is like most Dell hardware in being easy for any hardware tech to work on. It’s hard for me to think of any con’s. If it could only find more money for our IT budget I would outfit our entire team with this model.

When I started my new job a year ago, I chose this particular model from the Dell Latitude range. I have to say that it’s a great piece of kit, and my one with an i7 processor and 8GB RAM is pretty fast, but I am not really a fan of the design.
It really does feel somewhat bulky, and it’s surprisingly heavy considering its dimensions.

As a laptop which isn’t going to be taken out of the office all that much it’s very good and competitively priced, but for anyone who’s going to be taking a laptop in / out of the office on a regular basis I’d recommend looking at the 6430U instead.

Tried two of them out on a couple of attorney’s. Both of them are well pleased with the balance of performance and size.

Solid design and good functionality. Camera quality decent. One complaint – needed to put more space next to the VGA cable input as it is hard to use the USB slot right next to the VGA for anything other than a skinny USB cable. Plugging a thumb drive is not an option in this USB port.

Good solid body. Dockablity is a definite plus. I like the the fact that the parts are so easily swapped (memory, HD’s, etc). The only negative I can think of is the weight. I wish it was a little lighter.
